こんな workaround が残っていたりして (当然 systemd Gentoo では /etc/hostname を使っており /etc/conf.d/hostname は跡形もない)、ちょっと弄るくらいの話で済みそうにないような感じがするけど
やっぱり諦めます、ある日また突然動かなくなったりしたら余計に困る
次なる判断は Gentoo on QEMU VM をやるかどうか……
