With the end of another streaming week comes another video 
this time, it's Wind Scene (600 AD) from none other than the legendary Chrono Trigger

It has this melancholy to it that is really representative of the sort of loneliness one might feel trying to bound between multiple eras of time while desperately trying to prevent the destruction of the planet while everyone just lives their lives, mostly oblivious to the mortal peril you're all in 
yet, it also has a soothing peacefulness to it that quite a few people (me included) seem to be taken with 
Unlike quite a bit of the repertoire, this is actually a piece that causes me a lingering feeling of never quite being able to do it justice 
still, after nearly 6 months of streaming, this has remained a favourite of the people that tune in to the stream and gets a play-through at least every other stream if not once a stream 
(or even 2 plays in the same stream 
)

Nostalgic but not painfully so, energetic but comfortably so, and one of my favourite pieces of all time: the Staff Roll from Super Mario 64, now as a stand-alone video

While it definitely helped with that, I think more than anything else, the hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of listening to the soundtrack while playing the game influenced both my tastes and skills in music
