Check out the tweaked tiling that lets you have different layouts for every virtual desktop; the overhauled Spectacle that makes capturing your desktop faster; how KRunner now understands color; and in general the literally dozens of other fixes and features that make Plasma friendlier and easier to use.
The author has done a good job navigating the social side of #opensource, tackling "how do we fix this bug without pissing off our users", exploring options and ultimately deciding to opt for a gradual, non-breaking approach for now.
I'm happy with the fix and the migration plan: merging :)

Something that I really appreciate about Bevy's #opensource culture is the way that we emphasize "adopting" others PRs: sharing credit and finishing them up when they get too busy or bored or get in over their head. It really helps keep things flowing smoothly, and it feels really collaborative.
zizmor 1.9.0 is released!
this is not a very big release in terms of visible features, but it comes with a handful of bugfixes and a lot of internal changes. in particular, the `template-injection` audit should both be faster overall *and* more correct/sensitive to true findings, thanks to a significant internal refactor.
