で, plural or uncountable nounsの場合には any is used with negative verbsと書いてて, これが否定形でany使うよねに対応していると思う

じゃあ一方で単数の時ってどうなのというのが any can mean 'practically every', 'no particular (one)'とある
"Press any key"は否定じゃないけど使えるというのは, 単数のkeyについているのでこっちであって, 'no particular'などれでもいいのキーを押してという話ではないか
