@ivyl oh good, I was looking at some mono repos the other day and a lot of it seemed like an unmaintained wasteland with holes not quite filled by dotnet
@tonytins@tonybark.com@ivyl .... wait. that means more .NET apps will run natively under Wine, which ReactOS will naturally inherent.
@tonytins Wine is already using Mono through its dedicated downstream (https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine-mono/wine-mono). The proper upstream was basically stagnant since 2019. The difference the upstream ownership makes is that Mono packaged in Linux distros, etc. will continue being developed. This means it will benefit from the work done for Wine-Mono, and can benefit from all the fixes that were just sitting as unattended Pull Requests.
